Step 1; Day 35

I'm feeling a little better today now that I found someone currently on resolve. I'm sad that "Fearfully Hopeful" is in a similar situation as me but it feels good to have the support of another who understands what you are going through. Hardly anyone close to me knows I am infected with HSV2 accept for a couple people, like my mom and BFF,so I am constantly feeling alone, ashamed, and depressed. Fearfully Hopeful also has a blog on here Resolve experience at "48daysandcounting.blogspot.com" if anyone else is interested in following her progress.

Not much is going with my body lately. I had my first and only outbreak while on resolve a few weeks ago. It was only 1 sore that I could see, but it was more painful than most outbreaks I've had before. I do have a butt-load of pimples though!!! No matter what I do, I cant get rid of them!!! And they arent normal pimples...thay're like mutant pimles!!! I have one huge one on my chin that had about five white-heads in just that one pimple, and when I tried to pop it, noting would really come out and it hella scabbed over. I've given up on thinking anything will help the acne. I guess I just gotta ride it out :-( It makes me feel really self conscious, but if I test negative in september, it will have all been worth it...scars and all!!!

Because I have been so down, I have been drinking quite frequently in the evenings to try and cope. Resolve says it wont effect my results but they told me that since it's a detox, I should drink in moderation. I'm a little nervous about that, but Fighter admitted to drinking while on her detox and from what she posted she is now negative for HSV2. Well tomorrow is supposed to be my final day of Step 1 before my day of rest and journey on to step 2. Have a great day everyone :-)

  1. If I were you I wouldn't drink. I have never really been a drinker so that's not even an option. But this detox makes you so dehydrated anyway, alcohol will probably make you sick if you can't chug twice as much water as you consume alcohol. Plus if you are trying to get rid of toxins then why would you add more....if you are ever feeling down you can call or text me. I can give you my number. I have had a really hard time some days too, but I have accepted that I don't care what guys think of me right now because I'm focusing on me and my health right now. It can get hard and step 3, which is your step 2 is pretty sick...tastes super nasty and smells super nasty. I don't really feel all that bad yet, it's only the end of day 3 but I hear it gets old fast.....hang in there
