Has anyone ever heard of this?

I know, I know...I should totally be sleeping right now instead of googling "herpes" but I saw this product's website around the same time I was looking into ordering resolve;

I'd be interested in knowing if anyone has ever heard of this product or knows of anyone who has used it? The method sounds a little off, but I read a medical journal that was talking about a possible cure in the next twenty years that had a similar idea.

The difference was that in the medical journal, they were saying that a method would be developed to make ALL the HSV virus hiding in the CNS come out and when all the virus was active, antiviral meds (acyclovir basically) could be taken and would be able to destroy the HSV completly. The reason why antivirals dont cure herpes now is because during an outbreak and shedding, only some of the virus becomes active while the rest lays dormant out of the reach of our immune sytems and antivirals so during the time when medication is being taken, only the virus that is active at that time can be destroyed. So basically for this possible cure that was discussed in the medical journal, people would have to suffer one MASSIVE outbreak but then they would be HSV free. The down side to this, according to the article was that an outbreak like that would cause some SERIOUS nerve damage throughout the body. So I guess the 20 year gap between now and our cure is them trying to figure out how to make this work without destroying our nerves in the process...
